Day Five!!!!!

Day five, a day that we have all been waiting for...kind of. We dedicated this day to completing the little things. Some of the team members spent quite some time on setting ownership to all the prims in the library.

Some of the desks and chairs have been re-texturised with the addition of some plasma screens.


The plasma screens in various places gave our library a very up to date look.

To make our sliding doors more interesting, we added some lines in a translucent manner.

And we managed to create our very own particle system.

By not creating our library in Second Life we were at quite the disadvantage, since we did not have a range of things to buy on the market.

But more importantly we made a particle system!!!
Its located in our front entrance way so everyone can see when they enter.

Here we can see our magnificent library from behind.

Outside our library we placed a billboard with each group member playing around with additive and subtractive.







Thanks to this helpful tutorial on youtube, we were able to make a lighting switch system for our library. Nevertheless the light intensity wasn't that great but still it worked.
