Playing with ArchiCad

Archicad is BIM and CAD software for operating systems such as windows and the machintosh. Developed by the Hungarian company graphisoft, the software allows the user to create architecture without having to physically draw it. The software gives more precision in the designing process whilst also speeding the whole process up.
To be put simply, its a program for drawing and also modeling buildings/houses.

So my first attempt with the program, i mangaed to make a house which is quite simple.

Quite a simple house, it only has one room and two entrances. I mangaged to find a grand piano in the objects library and placed it in there. Also you can also see a desk with a computor and keyboard.

Somehow during the making process of this house i figured out some of the functions of the buttons by trial and error.
Unfortunately I did not know how to put a roof on successfully so as you can see, there is no roof.

On my second try I tride altering some of the walls a bit and playing around with the programs features somewhat more.

Here is my final floor plan, as you can see it isn't a simplistic box shaped house. But instead the walls are at various angels and the roof is oddly shaped accordingly.

A perspective view of the entrance way. Unfortuanately i still did not know quite how to change the textures of the walls and other surfaces, thus the hosue looks basic.

This is what the interior looks like. The grand piano situated in the middle of the enviroment. Around it you can see chairs and a sofa near the window.

From a bottom angle can see the creases in the roofing structure more effectively.

Its quite interesting to see.
